Awards

· 2007 – Hawaii National Guard, Certificate of Appreciation, for superior performance, high quality workmanship, timely completion, and excellent cooperation displayed by Heartwood’s Personnel.

· 2004 – AIA Award of Excellence & Jack C. Lipman Member’s Choice Award for the Smithsonian Institute Submillimeter Array Base Facility in Hilo. The general contractor was Taisei Construction and Heartwood Pacific was the subcontractor for timber framing and finish carpentry.

· 2004 – AIA Award for Nanea Golf Clubhouse designed by Group 70. Kailua-Kona Construction Company was the general contractor. Heartwood Pacific was the subcontract for timber and roof framing.

· 1998 – BIA Award winning Molokai Ranch Model Home. Clifford White was the Architect and Mike Singer was the prime subcontractor.

· 1997 – BIA Parade of Homes, Award winning Molokai Ranch Model Home. Metcalf Construction was the general contractor and Mike Singer was the prime subcontractor.

· 1995 – AIA Award for Merit for Addition and Renovation to the Ruth and Birch Robison residence in Hilo. The Architect was Taylor Cockerham and Mike Singer was the general contractor.

· 1991 – BIA Parade of Homes, Paniolo Estates in Waikoloa, Model (93A) 94. The general contractor was Structural Contracting Inc., James Schuler was the developer, and Mike Singer was the subcontractor for framing.
