Volcano Art Center

The Administration Building for the Volcano Art Center was completed by Heartwood Pacific in 2005. Located at Volcano on the Big Island, this project was 3,500 square feet of new construction. The building was wood framed and the site work included mass excavation to get down to the lava rock to find a solid foot and then adding a structural base to get back up to grade. Heartwood was the Prime Contractor on this project and staff completed the project management, site work, foundation, framing, finish carpentry and drywall.
