Performance Period: November 2009 to December 2010
Scope of Work: New construction of the 4,481 square foot Visitor's Emergency Operations Center. The project also included renovation of an existing ranger station. The Volcano Emergency Operations Center for Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park will house law enforcement, fire, eruption, and dispatch personnel. The project includes specialized construction to meet Dispatch and Command Center code requirements, has redundant HVAC and electrical support systems, emergency backup power, and a 246 panel 48 kwh photovoltaic system.
